The Atkins diet was created by Dr. Robert Atkins originally in the 1960s and came back into focus in the 1990s.  The diet is one that consists of high protein and low carbohydrate eating.  With Atkins, a person can eat foods containing all the calories that they want that come from protein and fat however they must restrict their carbohydrate intake.

Is your y stong enough?  Maybe I should I have written it this way, “Is your why stong enough”.  If you were asked to define why you want to lose weight or why do you want to get in shape, what would your response be?

Here is the truth, If your why is strong enough, you can bear almost any how.  Don’t focus on the how but rather spend some time really identifing your “true” why.  It may not be the first answer you come up with.

Are you one good night’s sleep away from a new slimmer and trimmer you?  Clinical research has shown over the years that people who get a full night’s deep sleep, are more rested than others.  Why is this important? Well, if you are not getting enough rest, chances are you will use items like coffee or the like to stimulate your energy.  The problem is that most of us can’t just drink coffee.  We add cream, sugar and a few danish or donuts to the mix.  Perhaps a good night sleep can help.
