Recently, my wife and I were looking to purchase a home.  We searched high and low and finally settled upon a very nice home in a suburb of Houston, Texas.  The only problem was that this particular home was just outside of our proce range.  Even though we could not afford it, that did not stop me from my fantasies of owning that house.  I say this to say that because I was so focused on this particular house, I was unable to see the other very well designed homes that were in our price range.  All of a sudden, those homes were not good enough for me.  What about you? Maybe you are not buying real estate but do you overlook the 2 pounds you lost last week because it wasn’t 5 pounds?  Do you compare your progress in this journey to weight loss with others rather than living? Today I realized an undeniable truth. Proper water intake is critical to supress an ravenous appetite. Today I ate and ate but did drank more soda and juice than water and can you guess what?  Yep, I feel like crap.  Tommorrow I will do better.  You?  How much water do you drink on a daily basis.  Research shows that 8 glasses a day is an ideal way to keep you lean and mean.

There is an old saying that goes, “if you don’t have time to eat healthy, you’ll have to make time to be sick” or something like that. The reality is that this statement or the correct statement is so true.  Taking care of our physical bodies should be of primary importance.  Think about this, what do you have if you don’t have your health? Like most people I too am very busy and quite often do not eat as I should.  I can only imagine how difficult it must be for those of you who are equally if not more busy than I and are making an attempt to include diet and exercise into your routine. Remember, if you lose your money you’ve only lost something however if you lose your health and wellness you have actually lost all.
