In a typical office setting there is usually one guy. You know the guy right? Now this may not seem like a big deal but what you must understand is that my wife and I agreed that we would not eat pork or shellfish. Well, wouldn’t you know it that this delectable breakfast sandwich was full of sausage? So here I am hungry and ready to eat a horse but defiantly not a pig. I immediately took the biscuit left on my desk and handed it back to the person that brought it. Did I want to eat it? Absolutely!

I can say no to just about anything however when dessert time arrives I really must admit that I have a hard time knowing when to say when. A Bug In My Wife’s Food

Last week my wife and I decided that we were not going to allow our children to eat out at any fast food places. Though it was tough I have to admit that we did a pretty good job of making sure that the only meals they ate were almost all healthy home-cooked meals. In fact, the children did so well this week we thought it would be a nice gesture to take them to McDonald’s tonight. While we had good intentions, it seems that this was not the brightest of ideas.

The first sign of trouble is when we pulled up to the drive-thru window. “Your total comes to $24.39” the lady said. Can you believe that? For a burger and fries. Anyway, then we get up to the window and the guy at the front literally has no idea what we ordered. It takes them at least 7 minutes to sort everything out. But here is the kicker. We get home and are eating when my wife take a bite of her sandwich and finds a bug. Ah yes, the icing on the cake. Guess it was just God’s way of letting us know that we should eat at home from now on. Don’t you go through all that to learn the lesson I am trying to teach.
